Documenting people, places & the work they do.

About Me

I’m a film and digital photographer based in Rochester, NY, drawn to real moments, interesting places, and the stories behind the people who create them.

I’ve always been into photography, but I really fell back in love with it when I started shooting film. It slowed everything down and made me more intentional with what I capture, which still shapes how I approach my work today.

My style leans toward documentary. I focus on what’s already there rather than creating something overly staged. The in-between moments, the way a space feels, and the small details that often go unnoticed.

I bring a professional background in social media and marketing into my photography, which shapes how I approach every project, especially with brands. I’m not just thinking about how something looks, but how it represents a brand, how a set of images tells a story, and how it will live across platforms in a way that actually connects with people.

I’m especially drawn to working with small businesses, creatives, and people doing meaningful work. The kinds of projects where there’s something real to capture.

My Approach

Documentary Approach

I focus on capturing what’s already happening rather than creating something overly staged. I’m drawn to natural moments, real interactions, and the overall feeling of a space. This allows the final images to feel honest and true to what was actually there.

Intentional Direction

While my work is rooted in documentary, I still bring a thoughtful eye to composition, light, and detail. I’ll gently guide when needed, but never in a way that feels forced. The goal is always to keep things natural while still creating images that feel considered and cohesive.

Creative + Marketing Mindset

I approach photography with both creativity and strategy in mind. Especially when working with brands, I think about how images will function beyond just one moment. How they tell a story, how they translate across platforms, and how they connect with people in a real way.
